Resources for Patients
and Health Professionals

Exercise and movement are recommended treatments for axSpA and are some of the most important things a person can do to help manage the disease. In this section, find out about appropriate exercising and access many videos showing you the most common exercises for axSpA.

STRETCH AND MOVE

These two sessions have been created for ASIF by Jamie Boder and Geoff Lindsay, co- Founders of Yoga for AS specifically for people with axSpA. Jamie and Geoff, who both have axSpA, provide options for each pose, making the sessions accessible to everyone regardless of their level of flexibility.

Session 1: Spine and Back

Session 2: Neck and sacroiliac joints

When participating in any exercise or exercise programme, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you engage in this exercise or exercise programme, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself, and agree to release and discharge Yoga for AS LTD and ASIF from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of these videos.
